Dispatch for owner-operators who want to drive, not sit on the phone.
When you own the truck and the authority, every hour on a load board or chasing a broker is an hour not driving. We take the phone work, the paperwork and the follow-up off your hands — you keep your MC, your truck and the final say on every load.
What an owner-operator actually hands us.
You approve every load
We find and negotiate the loads; you decide. Nothing is booked on your authority without your yes, and you see every rate confirmation in your login.
Home time is part of the plan
Tell us how you want to run — out for a week, home every weekend, regional only — and we plan around it, and tell you honestly what that choice does to your weekly gross.
The paperwork after the load
Rate confirmations, BOLs, invoices and factoring paperwork are where owner-operators lose their evenings. We handle them, and detention and TONU claims get filed instead of forgotten.
Your numbers, every week
Miles, gross and rate per mile by lane in one weekly report, so you know which lanes are paying and which only keep you busy.
What is included.

- One dedicated dispatcher who knows your truck, your lanes and how you like to run
- Loads found on load boards and through direct brokers, negotiated against what the lane is really paying
- Broker carrier packets filled in and sent for you
- Rate confirmations, BOLs and invoices handled, and factoring paperwork prepared if you factor

- A login to Smart Haul TMS — loads, documents and settlements, live
Questions from owner-operators
Do I keep my own authority?
Yes. You stay the carrier: loads are booked under your MC, on your insurance, and paid to you or your factoring company. We work on your behalf; we never take over your authority.
Can I turn a load down?
Always. We bring you loads with the rate, the miles and the pickup details, and you say yes or no. A good dispatcher learns quickly which loads you will and will not take.
How much does dispatch cost for an owner-operator?
Rates are quoted per carrier — your equipment, your lanes and how much of the back office you hand us decide it. Call us and you will get a straight number.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. It is month to month, so we have to earn it every week.
Tell us what you run.
A dispatcher calls you back within one business day. Nothing is committed by sending this.
