Reefer dispatch that reads the temperature line before the rate.
Refrigerated freight pays more because more can go wrong. A wrong setpoint, a late appointment or a missing pulp reading can turn a good load into a claim. We dispatch reefers with that in mind.
What reefer dispatch really involves.
Every load has its own temperature
Frozen, chilled and produce loads each come with a setpoint and a run mode — continuous or cycle. We check those instructions on the rate confirmation before the load is accepted, not after the driver has picked it up.
Pulp checks and paperwork
Produce shippers expect pulp temperatures and seal numbers recorded at pickup. We make sure the driver knows what to record and that it ends up on the bill of lading, because that record is what protects you in a claim.
Seasons drive the market
Produce seasons move the reefer market through the year, from the South and West in spring to the Midwest and Northeast through summer. We plan around them so your truck is where the freight is.
Clean trailers and washouts
Food shippers fall under the FDA’s sanitary transportation rules and can reject a dirty trailer. We plan washouts when the next load needs one and keep the receipt for reimbursement where the broker pays for it.
Everything a reefer carrier hands us.
One agreement, month to month. Rates are quoted per carrier — your equipment, lanes and fleet size decide it.
- One dedicated dispatcher who knows your truck, your reefer and the lanes you want to run
- Load boards and direct broker relationships worked all day, matched to your equipment
- Rates negotiated against what the lane is really paying, not the first offer
- Rate confirmations, BOLs and carrier packets handled, and every load tracked to delivery
- Detention, TONU and layover claims pursued with the broker

Reefer dispatch FAQ
Do you dispatch produce and frozen loads?
Yes — produce, frozen, chilled and other temperature-controlled freight, including multi-stop grocery runs. We also book dry freight in a reefer when it pays better than waiting for a refrigerated load.
What happens if a load is rejected at delivery?
We get involved straight away: we gather the temperature records, photos and paperwork, work with the broker on the claim or a re-delivery, and find the truck its next load so the day is not lost twice.
Do you negotiate detention on reefer loads?
Yes, before booking, and we file the claim afterwards. A reefer sitting at a dock is burning fuel to hold temperature, so dock time matters more here than on dry freight.
